About Us

A Soulmate Is Your Other Half

As the number of online dating sites and matchmaking services grows, navigating through them to the ‘right one’ is becoming increasingly difficult. However, the popularity of online dating apps and sites has created data. Data bore statistics. As an organisation focused on warmth and personal relevance within the young professional Jewish community, our cogs started turning. The need for a different and innovative twist became alarmingly apparent.

Our Team

With a team of experienced dating coaches, marriage counsellors and a board of rabbinic advisors from across every spectrum and with months of extensive research we are Met at Chabad.

Met at Chabad differs from traditional dating sites by noting the critical issues with the modern-day dating scene. With the widespread use of quick-fix dating apps, the world's view of dating has rapidly changed. We have been educated to ‘swipe away’ life’s most important choices. Baseless robotic decisions have become the norm. Specifications dictate compatibility of objects, dismally failing to marry souls.
Our two prong approach aims to tackle these issues.

Intentional Dating

Experiencing dating burnout? The monotony of superficiality getting you down? Are you looking for something more? Start “dating for marriage”. Learn what a Jewish marriage really is and how to build and maintain a healthy relationship. Professional courses and seminars will be taught by world-renowned speakers online and at hundreds of venues worldwide.

Finding The Right One

A newly-created matchmaking algorithm, based on Jewish, family and personal values, is being developed by a team at Yale University and will be powered by professional matchmakers. This coupling (yes we meant that) of personal touch and technology blends the best ingredients together enabling us to make more effective dates and marriages.
Speed dating, trained coaches and social networking events are some of the other programs you can expect from this ground-breaking initiative. We implore you - watch this space!
